The size of mica sheet you need for a stove window is measured to the outside of the window frame.

Or measure the inside of the window and ad approximately 1/2 inch to overall size.

Stove window Mica can be cut with a pair of heavy scissors.

Stove mica can also be cut with a razor knife.

Place the Mica between 2 sturdy pieces of  thin wood and use a regular drill.

Yes. But not very Much.
